Dr. Dennis Garzonio is the
across-the-board expert behind the FS Seed Corn line. Holding a PhD
in Plant Pathology from Iowa State University and over 24 years as
an agriculture research scientist, Dr. Garzonio has directed corn
plant breeding programs from the lab and greenhouse, all the way to
the field. As a commercial corn breeder, he led development of 17
commercial hybrids, 13 of which are sold in North America. Further,
he has been a primary contributor to the introduction of many insect
and herbicide resistant traits now offered in the FS Seed Corn line.
Drawing on his exhaustive knowledge of corn parental lines and key
hybrids, Dr. Garzonio sources the best available genetics for the FS
Seed Corn line to match the unique needs of Midwest corn growers.

Tom Hunsley, the FS HiSOY®
product manager has led the development and production of the
40-year-old brand for more than half of its existence. His effective
use of resources, in-depth understanding of genetics and ability to
capitalize on market trends has given Midwest farmers the edge in
maximizing profits and reducing risks for over 20 years. Under his
leadership, FS HiSOY was among the first soybean brands to
successfully incorporate herbicide resistant traits, improve
genetics to fight disesase and the yield-dragging effects of Soybean
Cyst Nematode. Today, under Tom’s leadership the FS HiSOY line has
grown to include the Vistive™ low-lin product. Through constant
research and analytical review, Tom brings consistent performance
and reliability to each and every HiSOY brand soybean seed. |
As the manager of FS Forage and Turf
products, Dave Gentry leads a group of individuals committed to
bringing only the best available forage seed to customers. Dave’s 30
years of practical agriculture experience offers unmatched support
to FS Forage seed lines. Drawing on expertise gained as a seed
agronomist, entomologist and crops & seed sales manager, Dave
applies an in-depth understanding of alfalfa and forage management
practices as he chooses seed for the FS Forage line. Dave’s skills
and technical understanding brings farmers the advanced genetics they
want and the innovative crop solutions they need. |
